Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban has been referred to as the queen of Drama in various media. Panganiban's range of talents and expertise in the field of acting is widely recognized. The word angelica roots means that only the root of the plant is employed. She was then sent straight into live shows. The Live Shows featured she sang Clarity (by Zedd) in the Quarterfinals as well as without You (by David Guetta) in the Semifinals. Angelica could advance to the Finals. The song she performed was Symphony, by Clean Bandit. On the episode of the results, she performed "Stronger" with Kelly Clarkson. As the youngest competitor ever to compete on the show and second in the show's history, she placed 2nd. Angelica Hale became very sick in 2012, when she was barely 4 years older. Her pneumonia was double due to an aggressive strep-pneumococcal bacteria infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed Angelica Hale on ECMO care for life-saving treatment. The patient became septic and suffered several organ failures, including her kidneys, which failed to heal. The rest of her life was a new regimen of hemodialysis, followed by the peritoneal dilation. For the eighteen days she was in the Hospital, the life of her was changed completely. Angelica was on dialysis for over a decade half years before receiving an organ transplant. The donor kidney would come from none other than her mother. Angelica together with her mother, went through successful kidney transplantation on September 13th 2013 in two amazing hospitals that were situated right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale's ambition to be a superstar has never wavered.
